# Create the interactive workflow

This step uses the project’s current plan to create dialogue, learner choices, and the responses that follow. Check the plan, then ask AI to create the workflow. Review or edit the output after it is ready.

## 1. Choose the plan and start creating

Before starting, finish and confirm the plan for this training. [No plan yet? Create the plan first](doc2sim-plan.md)

1. Select Workflow at the top of the project.
2. Check the name in Use this plan?; this is the project’s current plan.
3. Select Use this plan, then send the Generate the workflow message added to the composer.

After sending the request, wait for AI to finish. Practise selecting a plan below; create the actual workflow in your own project.

## 2. Open the finished output

When the completion message appears, select the View Output icon in the header (hover to see its name). The Workflow Preview sidebar shows the created content as a graph, where you can inspect dialogue and learner choices. Then decide whether to edit it or try it in Simulation.

### What does the finished graph look like?

Boxes contain training content, such as dialogue or a set of answers. Arrows show which content comes next. Select a box to inspect its content.

This is a completed refund example. Open the editor when you want to change what characters say or the answers learners can choose.

## 3. Choose the next step

### I need to change the content

Select Edit / Details in Workflow Preview. The editor has three tabs, Chat, Code and Graphical Edit, and opens on Code; switch to Graphical Edit to edit with forms. Start by learning what each is for.

### I want to try the learner experience

Build and play in Simulation. Choose answers and read their responses before deciding what needs changing.
